On the Precipice of So Much Excitement and Success

Dear Sister Carol,
I wanted to share a few words on this momentous occasion of your retirement as President of Chestnut Hill College. The impact you have made on Chestnut Hill College and all of us who have been privileged enough to be part of it, is immeasurable. You have made so many decisions some of which I’m sure were not easy. But here we are on the precipice of so much excitement and success. Over the 25 years that I have been on staff here at the college, I have learned so much from your example of espousing all of the qualities of being a Sister of Saint Joseph and all that it means. What an honor and a privilege to have been a part of this magnificent journey!! I wish you so much contentment in the future. I hope you know the impact you have made on all of us –faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members–who have walked these wonderful halls of Chestnut Hill College!!
